En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, c\u2019est plut\u00f4t un r\u00e9v\u00e9lateur : de nos automatismes, de notre rapport \u00e0 la pression sociale\u2026 et de ce que l\u2019\u00e9conomie num\u00e9rique fait \u00e0 notre cerveau quand il est fatigu\u00e9.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un chiffre met tout de suite l\u2019ambiance : en France, pr\u00e8s des deux tiers des Fran\u00e7ais d\u00e9clarent avoir achet\u00e9 \u201cde mani\u00e8re impulsive\u201d r\u00e9cemment, et \u00e7a grimpe \u00e0 78% chez les 18\u201334 ans, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elle.fr\/Societe\/News\/Les-Francais-champions-des-achats-impulsifs-et-durables-4019426\"><strong>selon une \u00e9tude YouGov men\u00e9e en 2022<\/strong><\/a> (relay\u00e9e par la presse).<br>Ajoutez \u00e0 \u00e7a le contexte des derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, une inflation moyenne annuelle \u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lokki.rent\/media\/underconsumption-core\"><strong>5,2% en 2022, 4,9% en 2023, puis un reflux \u00e0 2,0% en 2024<\/strong><\/a>, et on comprend pourquoi beaucoup ont eu, \u00e0 un moment, l\u2019impression de \u201csubir\u201d leur panier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alors, si on se force pendant un mois \u00e0 ne faire que des achats de premi\u00e8re n\u00e9cessit\u00e9, qu\u2019est-ce qui se passe concr\u00e8tement ? Est-ce qu\u2019on \u00e9conomise vraiment, ou est-ce qu\u2019on d\u00e9place juste le probl\u00e8me ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"un-mois-no-buy--les-premiers-effets-sont-moins-fin\">Un mois \u201cno buy\u201d : les premiers effets sont moins financiers que mentaux<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les premiers jours, ce qui frappe, ce n\u2019est pas tant l\u2019argent \u201cqui reste\u201d que l\u2019espace mental qui se lib\u00e8re. Moins de micro-d\u00e9cisions (\u201cje le prends ? je le prends pas ?\u201d), moins de scroll qui se termine en panier, moins de petites justifications int\u00e9rieures (\u201cc\u2019est un petit prix donc \u00e7a compte pas\u201d). Et cette fatigue d\u00e9cisionnelle, on la sous-estime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce qui est int\u00e9ressant, c\u2019est que l\u2019achat compulsif est rarement une histoire de besoin. Il ressemble plut\u00f4t \u00e0 une r\u00e9ponse rapide \u00e0 une \u00e9motion : stress, ennui, excitation, petite r\u00e9compense apr\u00e8s une journ\u00e9e moyenne. Dans la m\u00eame veine, l\u2019\u00e9tude YouGov\/ParcelLab \u00e9voqu\u00e9e en 2022 montrait que l\u2019impulsion est tr\u00e8s fr\u00e9quente, surtout chez les jeunes adultes.<br>Du coup, un mois sans achats \u201cplaisir\u201d ne supprime pas le besoin de r\u00e9confort\u2026 il oblige \u00e0 le trouver ailleurs. Et l\u00e0, on voit vite si on a d\u2019autres \u201cboutons\u201d disponibles : sport, cuisine, sorties low-cost, appels aux proches, ou m\u00eame juste le fait de dormir correctement (oui, \u00e7a joue plus qu\u2019on ne veut l\u2019admettre).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Petite transition au passage : une fois l\u2019effet \u201cd\u00e9tox\u201d install\u00e9, on se heurte au vrai sujet. Pas nos envies, mais l\u2019environnement qui les fabrique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"le-pige-nest-pas-la-faiblesse--cest-larchitecture\">Le pi\u00e8ge n\u2019est pas la faiblesse : c\u2019est l\u2019architecture des achats <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Faire un mois sans achats compulsifs, c\u2019est aussi d\u00e9couvrir \u00e0 quel point la consommation moderne est con\u00e7ue pour \u00eatre frictionless. Moins il y a de friction, plus l\u2019achat devient un r\u00e9flexe. Et sur les r\u00e9seaux sociaux, c\u2019est particuli\u00e8rement visible : <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/9-in-10-gen-z-and-millennials-impulse-buy-on-social-media-godaddy-survey-reveals-302329677.html\">une \u00e9tude GoDaddy (2024)<\/a><\/strong> indique que seuls 9% de la Gen Z et 12% des millennials planifient leurs achats sur les r\u00e9seaux \u00e0 l\u2019avance.<br>Autrement dit : on n\u2019ach\u00e8te pas \u201capr\u00e8s r\u00e9flexion\u201d, on ach\u00e8te \u201cpendant qu\u2019on ressent quelque chose\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deuxi\u00e8me couche : la promo permanente. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/9-in-10-gen-z-and-millennials-impulse-buy-on-social-media-godaddy-survey-reveals-302329677.html\">Une enqu\u00eate Oney\/CSA <\/a><\/strong>sur les comportements d\u2019achat en 2024 explique que beaucoup r\u00e9servent leurs achats plaisir aux p\u00e9riodes de promotions, et que la restriction budg\u00e9taire reste tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9sente (70% envisagent de continuer \u00e0 se restreindre).<br>Ce n\u2019est pas juste \u201cles gens font attention\u201d, c\u2019est aussi que le march\u00e9 s\u2019est habitu\u00e9 \u00e0 vendre l\u2019id\u00e9e qu\u2019acheter au bon moment, c\u2019est presque une comp\u00e9tence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Troisi\u00e8me couche, plus discr\u00e8te : le paiement fractionn\u00e9. Dans la m\u00eame enqu\u00eate, 36% des Fran\u00e7ais envisagent d\u2019utiliser le paiement fractionn\u00e9 dans l\u2019ann\u00e9e \u00e0 venir pour certains achats.<br>Et l\u00e0, on touche un point un peu paradoxal : \u00e7a peut aider \u00e0 lisser un budget\u2026 mais \u00e7a peut aussi anesth\u00e9sier le prix r\u00e9el. Quand une d\u00e9pense devient \u201cquatre fois 25 \u20ac\u201d, elle perd une partie de son poids psychologique. Et \u00e7a, pendant un \u201cno buy month\u201d, on le ressent vite : on red\u00e9couvre le prix entier des choses, sans l\u2019effet \u201cpetite mensualit\u00e9\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"aprs-le-dfi--soit-on-rebondit-soit-on-change-de-rg\">Apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9fi : soit on rebondit, soit on change de r\u00e8gles<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le risque classique, c\u2019est le \u201crebond\u201d : un mois de restriction, puis une semaine de \u201cje me rattrape\u201d. Ce n\u2019est pas de l\u2019\u00e9chec moral, c\u2019est de la m\u00e9canique. Si on ne change que le comportement sans changer le syst\u00e8me (notifications, applis, tentations, normes sociales), le syst\u00e8me gagne souvent \u00e0 la fin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce qu\u2019on observe chez ceux qui en tirent quelque chose, c\u2019est plut\u00f4t un changement de r\u00e8gles, pas un changement de volont\u00e9. Par exemple : se laisser un budget \u201cplaisir\u201d fixe d\u00e8s le d\u00e9but du mois, instaurer 48 heures de d\u00e9lai pour tout achat non essentiel, supprimer les apps qui transforment l\u2019ennui en vitrine, ou d\u00e9cider que les achats \u201crelooking\u201d se font uniquement en seconde main. Ce n\u2019est pas spectaculaire, mais c\u2019est stable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et au fond, le meilleur b\u00e9n\u00e9fice est peut-\u00eatre celui-l\u00e0 : on passe de \u201cj\u2019ach\u00e8te parce que j\u2019ai envie\u201d \u00e0 \u201cj\u2019ach\u00e8te parce que j\u2019ai choisi\u201d. Dans une p\u00e9riode o\u00f9 les prix ont beaucoup boug\u00e9 ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, cette sensation de choix redevient une forme de pouvoir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"conclusion-ouverte\">Conclusion<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Un mois sans achat compulsif, ce n\u2019est pas une punition.
